April Bowlby
April Bowlby (born April Bowlby) is an American actress, model and performer. The actress is famous for her character roles in the series Kandi and Stacy Barrett from Drop Dead Diva and Rita Farr and Titans and Doom Patrol. April Michelle Bowlby, an American actress best known for her portrayal of Stacy Barrett on the American drama/comedy TV series Drop Dead Diva and Kandi from the sitcom Two and a Half Men. When she began her career as a model, she then moved to television and film. She was a guest in the series CSI: Crime Scene Investigation as well as in single episodes of different shows, her first role on the screen was CSI: Crime Scene Investigation. Soon after, she was able to land the breakthrough character as Kandi in Two and a Half Men. Bowlby received international attention for the Stacy Barrett role in Drop Dead Diva. She played the recurring role of Rita Farr/Elastigirl in the American web show Titans. The character is set to return as a spin-off of the Doom Patrol television series. Bowlby also appeared on TV in films such as Sands of Oblivion, The Wrong Daughter as well as Sands of Oblivion 2. Her big screen debut came with the feature movie All Roads Lead Home and later appeared in other movies including The Slammin Salmon and From Prada to Nada. Bowlby was born and was raised in Manteca. She went to East Union High School. She took ballet classes as well as French in Moorpark College before deciding to pursue an acting career. She studied Drama in the class of Ivana Chobbuck and landed an important role on the TV series (Kandi for Two and a Half Men) just a few months after her Hollywood audition. Bowlby has been on numerous TV programs like CSI in 2004 as Kaitlin Rackish in 2004's CSI: NY with Jenny Lee in 2005 Freddie as Sydney in 2005 Stacked as Jasmine in 2005 and How I Met Your Mother as Meg in 2007. Recently, Bowlby played the part of Natasha on All Roads Lead Home a film from 2007 about a twelve year old girl who loses her mother in an automobile crash. Bowlby plays Mia in The Slammin Salmon, a comedy movie due to release in 2008. She lives in Los Angeles. She is a redhead, with blue eyes. She is a single woman without children.
