Coleman was born in Blackpool Lancashire. She attended Arnold School Blackpool as head girl. She also scored every A grade in her A-level exams. Discussing her role on Emmerdale Coleman said that she regrets that she did not have a traditional university experiences. Coleman became a member of the theater group, In Yer Space while during her time at university. The company performed during the Edinburgh Festival for the play Crystal Clear. It was the British Soap Awards 2009 nominated Coleman in category of Best Actress - Sexiest Feminine and the category for Best Dramatic Performance. Coleman received a TV Choice Award for Best Actress. Steven Moffat revealed at a Doctor Who Press Conference on the 21st of March that Coleman was set to portray Matt Smith as the Doctor's companion after Karen Gillan, Arthur Darvill and other characters quit the show. Moffat claimed that he selected Coleman for the role of companion because she would be the best companion for Smith. Also, Moffat noted that she talked faster than Smith. Eva Larue..............................Eva LaRue is an American actor and model. She has been in the industry for over 30 years and is involved with numerous film and TV projects. She has been much more visible on television than in films. Out of the many roles Eva has appeared in on television shows like Dr. Maria Santos in All My Children and Detective Natalia Boa Vista' in CSI Miami are the two that stand out. The latter even garnered her two nominations for the Daytime Emmy Awards and gave her a chance to explore her creativity in music. Eva is not only an actor, but also a businesswoman and philanthropist. She has been married three times who has a daughter from her second husband.
