Tina and Amanda

Tina Louise was an American singer, actress, and writer who is best recognized in the role of Ginger Grant from the TV show Gilligan's Island. Bettle's musical Two's Company was her first stage role in the 50s. Later, in 1956, she made her big break in the stage on Broadway with Li'l Abner. In 1957, she made her debut album called It's time for Tina. Louise first appeared in Hollywood as Griselda Walden in God's Little Acre a 1957 drama film. This movie was hugely popular and Louise was awarded the Golden Globe Award at the New Star of the Award category. While an undergraduate of Lee Strasberg, she attended the Actors Studio New York. Louise joined CBS in 1964 to portray Ginger Grant. Louise was a success in Hollywood as well as Broadway in roles that were more serious to counter her image of glamorous doll. Amanda Tapping..........................Amanda Tapping is best known for her acting roles as Samantha Carter in the series Stargate. SG-1 and in the role of Helen Magnus in Sanctuary although during the past couple of years she's also earned her name as a successful director in several well-known television series such as Supernatural as well as The 100. Her birthplace was in Essex August 28th on the 28th of August, 1965. Her family then relocated to Toronto to spend her youth. Samantha Carter settled in Vancouver in Canada following her choice for the role of lead.
