Ina-Garten

Ina Gardner is the writer of many popular American cookbooks on cooking. Ina also hosts Barefoot Contessa on Food Network. The show is on since 2002. Ina started her career as a writer at the White House, writing the nuclear energy budget and other policy reports. After initially finding the job intellectually stimulating and exciting, she soon became bored with it. Barefoot Contessa was then bought. After nearly 18 years of making the shop a massive success she decided to sell it and started creating her first novel. The other cookbooks came out, as did magazine columns. The Food Network television program also began and rapidly gained popularity. Her products range from appliances for kitchens to ingredient and storage containers. Ina did not go to a cookery school nor was she employed in a restaurant. Ina is a self-taught cook. She's known for her easygoing style of making food and hosting. Her most well-known recipes include Skillet-Roasted Lemon Chicken Beatty's Chocolate Cake Mac and Cheese Beef Bourguignon Balsamic-Roasted Brussels Sprouts and Lemon Bars.
